Ryan Wedding once represented Canada on the Olympic stage. Two decades later, prosecutors say he was operating at the center of a multinational cocaine network tied to the Sinaloa Cartel.
After more than a decade on the run, the former snowboarder landed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, with a $15 million reward attached. In January 2026, the search ended when Wedding surrendered at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. He now faces federal charges in California that could carry a life sentence.
